The IBEW/NECA Sound and Communication partnership in Northern California offers a unique career path—a three-year training program that gives you an opportunity to work with the latest technology while earning good wages and great benefits. The three-year apprenticeship program is operated by the NORCAL Sound and Communication Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC). The highly regarded program trains qualified applicants for careers in the Sound and Communication industry.

After completing the IBEW/NECA training program through the NORCAL Sound and Communication JATC, you will be qualified to install telephone systems, fire and life safety systems, security systems, CCTV systems, and fiber optic media.

In Northern California, the JATC apprenticeship program is governed-by the standards registered with the State of California and the US Department of Labor. The NORCAL JATC program is one of the most rigorous and respected apprenticeship training programs in the country. It provides a career path with a future, with many opportunities for advancement.
